Reminder: Maine's Legal Requirement for Health Care Providers to Test Pregnant Patients for Syphilis

Please see the attached notice reminding health care providers of Maine's legal requirements to test pregnant patients for syphilis. As set forth in Maine Statue Title 22, Sec 1231: Blood sample for laboratory test. Attached is the pdf of the aforementioned statue. This is being sent widely to providers that may interact with pregnant people.
